NORCAT is growing and looking for talented, self-motivated people to join its dynamic team.Trainer (Part-time)Reporting to the General Manager, Thunder Bay, the Part-time Trainer will administer various training programs offered by NORCAT.Key Responsibilities:Facilitate the delivery of health and safety programs. Courses include but are not limited to: Heavy Equipment OperationWorking at HeightsSurface Miner Common CoreTrain the TrainerParticipate in the development and continuous improvement of current and new training materialOther duties as required.Requirements / Qualifications:Experience operating heavy equipment in either surface, underground mining, forestry, construction and/or industrial operations.Strong leadership, multi-tasking and communication skillsStrong presentation skillsStrong teamwork and collaboration skillsTravel within Ontario is requiredAssets (Preferred but not required):Certificate in a Train the Trainer programWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OutlookAbility to travel within Canada and internationallyExperience in facilitation/training in adult educationBilingualism.
