A well-established and growing wealth management firm is seeking a Senior Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team of Financial Planning Associates who support Private Client Advisors. This is a highly visible leadership role that blends people management, strategic alignment, and operational oversight. Youll oversee a team of Associates across varying experience levels, ensuring they are supported, developed, and positioned to deliver exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities: Leadership - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Financial Planning Associates - Conduct regular 1:1 coaching sessions focused on performance, growth, and career progression - Partner closely with Advisors to ensure Associates are effectively aligned and supported - Navigate performance management situations with professionalism and emotional intelligence - Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Talent & Resource Planning - Support recruitment and onboarding of new Associates - Align team capacity and skillsets with Advisor needs - Identify development gaps and implement targeted coaching or training initiatives - Contribute to succession planning and internal mobility efforts - Monitor staffing levels to ensure optimal team structure Operational & Strategic Execution - Collaborate with cross-functional partners to enhance workflows and remove bottlenecks - Support rollout of key business initiatives across Advisory teams - Standardize development practices and performance feedback processes - Contribute to projects related to training, team engagement, and operational improvement - Leverage CRM and internal systems to manage reporting and team oversight Qualifications - 5+ years of leadership experience, ideally within financial services - Experience in a client-facing or advisory support capacity is highly valued - Demonstrated ability to manage and develop career-oriented professionals - Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work alongside senior Advisors - Familiarity with financial planning tools and CRM platforms - Bachelors degree required - Professional designations such as CFP, CIM, or equivalent are considered an asset On offer is a base salary that ranges from 120-160 K + 20% Bonus + RSSP etc. At Humans of HR, we support the development and growth of our candidates to reach their full potential.
