Business Title: BSA/HR Technologist Location: Remote Canada (PT alignment preferred, flexible hours are fine (8-5 local time)) Duration: 4 Months Minimum Education Required: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Interview Process: One initial screen with me, followed by a panel conversation with 2-3 key stakeholders. Top 3 must haves on resume: Senior level HR technology strategy and roadmap experience Strong enterprise systems and operating model thinking Ability to synthesize ambiguity and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders Familiarity with HRIS ecosystems (Workday), enterprise people systems, and modern product / experience platforms is helpful. No hands-on configuration required. Job Description: Experience Level: 10+ years This Senior Business Systems Analyst will support People & Places (PPL) leadership with HR technology strategy, operating model definition, and roadmap development across the PPL technology ecosystem. The role focuses on system level analysis, capability mapping, and decision frameworks rather than day to day system administration or delivery execution. The analyst will work with minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment to translate People strategy and leadership priorities into clear technology implications, trade offs, and actionable roadmaps. Key Responsibilities Analyze and document the current People technology landscape, including systems of record, workflow platforms, intelligence services, and experience layers Partner with PPL leadership to develop and refine a multi year PPL tech stack strategy and roadmap aligned to enterprise architecture and People strategy Define capability based frameworks to guide buy, build, and extend decisions across HR systems Identify fragmentation, redundancy, governance gaps, and opportunities for consolidation or intentional differentiation Produce executive ready artifacts (maps, decision frameworks, roadmaps) to support alignment with PPL LT and cross functional partners Act as a strategic partner to Solution Design and Product teams, without owning engineering delivery Out of Scope No hands on system configuration or administration No software development or coding No vendor contracting or delivery ownership The role reports to a senior PPL leader and is expected to operate independently, synthesize complex inputs, and provide strategic guidance that informs leadership decision making.
