Reporting directly to the General Counsel, the Associate Lawyer will also collaborate closely with the Senior Associate Lawyer and Senior Law Clerk, demonstrating strong teamwork, adaptability, and a willingness to learn from peers. Vacancy Status: New Responsibilities: Support BET99 legal in delivering timely legal advice across a broad range of matters, including gaming compliance, licensing, marketing, commercial agreements, intellectual property, employment and regulatory obligations Assist with contract drafting, review, and negotiation, particularly in areas such as vendor agreements, technology partnerships, data privacy, and affiliate marketing Conduct legal research on iGaming related matters including regulatory frameworks, and emerging industry developments across Canadian jurisdictions Help prepare responses to regulatory bodies and support ongoing compliance initiatives, audits, and reporting requirements Review marketing materials, promotions, and product features to ensure alignment with applicable iGaming and advertising standards Collaborate with crossfunctional teamsincluding Compliance, Marketing, and Operations to identify legal risks and propose practical solutions Maintain organized legal documentation, precedents, and internal knowledge resources to support efficient legal operations Contribute to process improvements and support the continued development of the Legal function within a rapidly evolving industry Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications: 1+ years of postcall experience at a medium or large law firm in Canada Called to the Bar in any Canadian province and in good standing Strong research, drafting, and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulatory frameworks Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment Comfortable taking direction from multiple team members, including the General Counsel, Senior Associate Lawyer, and Senior Law Clerk A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with strong professional judgment Excellent attention to detail High level of integrity, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality Experience or interest in iGaming, online sports betting, online casino, technology, and regulated industries Why Join BET99?
