**Job Title: Quality Control Technician** **Pay Rate: 27$/hr** **Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.** **Location: Edmonton, AB** **Job Description** As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for measuring and assessing valves, both large and small, on incoming and outgoing materials. Your role involves using calipers and micrometers to document tools using imperial measurements. You will read complex tolerance drawings to ensure accurate quality checks, fill out quality control documentation, and verify product information from Material Testing Reports (MTR). **Responsibilities** Measure and assess valves on incoming and outgoing materials. Use calipers and micrometers for documentation with imperial measurements. Read and interpret complex tolerance drawings for quality checks. Complete quality control documentation accurately. Verify product information from Material Testing Reports (MTR). Assist with cleaning and moving tools using counterbalance forklift or overhead crane. **Essential Skills** Proficiency in inspection and quality control processes. Skill in using calipers and micrometers. Ability to read blueprints and complex tolerance drawings. Experience with visual inspections and quality assurance.
