Role Description Western Securities Limited is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for a full-time, on-site role located in Calgary, AB. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing daily inspections, troubleshooting, and conducting repairs, managing make ready processes and completing residential work orders. Key tasks include executing preventive maintenance plans, overseeing equipment standards, ensuring optimal functioning of all systems, and addressing emergency maintenance requests. The role involves collaborating with team members to sustain building conditions and address maintenance needs efficiently. Qualifications Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance Expertise in Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance practices Experience in Maintenance & Repair of a variety of building systems and equipment Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a related field is a plus Familiarity with OSHA regulations and local building codes Previous experience in commercial or residential property environments is advantageous
