Job Description

Our client is seeking a Project Manager to join their team within the packaging and manufacturing space. The Project Manager plays a critical role in connecting sales, design, estimating, and operations teams to ensure opportunities are prioritized, communicated, and executed efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys transforming ideas into customer value. The successful candidate will act as a strategic partner to the VP of Sales helping to align internal teams, identify high-potential markets, and support initiatives that drive meaningful growth. Key Responsibilities Oversight and Team Management Serve as the direct supervisor for team members within the Packaging and Graphic Design teams, Estimating, and Small/Run Sample Development teams Provide direction, oversight, and support to ensure team alignment and execution Opportunity Coordination Act as a key intermediary between Sales and the Packaging and Graphic Design teams, Estimating, and Small/Run Sample Development teams Work closely with the VP of Sales to rank and prioritize business opportunities for design and quoting Team Communication Lead regular cross-functional update meetings to maintain alignment on priorities Communicate design and estimating progress and provide timely feedback to the sales team Market Development Collaborate with the VP of Sales to identify niche market opportunities Assist in developing targeted campaigns, including social media initiatives, to generate qualified leads and position the business as a leader in innovative packaging Capability Alignment Coordinate capability review sessions with Customer Service and Operations teams Identify right-fit opportunities that align with production capabilities, minimizing disruption and supporting successful execution of new business Customer Experience Enhancement Support and reinforce a high standard of customer experience Ensure all interactions reflect a commitment to partnership, creativity, and shared success Qualifications Experience in sales coordination, project management, or marketing within manufacturing, packaging, or a related field Strong organizational and communication skills with a proactive approach to collaboration Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail under tight timelines Comfortable facilitating meetings, tracking progress, and communicating outcomes across teams Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams, Outlook) Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems (experience with Flute or similar systems is an asset) Creative thinker with an understanding of digital marketing and social media as sales tools Why Join Work within a company that values innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement Be part of a collaborative team environment Opportunity to contribute directly to business growth and customer success Competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for growth Our client is committed to providing accommodations for individuals with disabilities throughout the recruitment process, in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
