If you have the qualities and drive to lead yourself or teams, there are roles ready to cultivate your skills and take you to the next level. **Job Description:** The Auto Mechanic 310S or 310T is responsible for the inspection repair and maintenance and diagnostic tests of the UPS Ground Support Equipment fleet **Job Type:** Full-Time / Permanent **Workdays:** Monday to Friday (must be able to work ALL 5 days of the week) **Shift Hours:** 10:00 AM to 18:30 PM (must be able to work a minimum of 40 hrs. per week) **Shift Duration:** 8 hours a day (requires flexibility with Start and Finish time) **Work Location:** **UPS Hamilton Gateway site: 9272 Airport Road, Mount Hope, ON, L0R 1W0** **Hourly Wage:** $42.29 per hour **Key Responsibilities and Duties** Repair & inspect and maintain UPS diesel, propane, CNG and gasoline vehicles in a regular and timely manner. Operate/test company vehicles within the UPS facilities & on public roads. **Requirements** Possession of a valid **Red Seal 310S or 310T license - Required** Possession of essential Trade Tools and Equipment - **Required** Clean Driver''''s Abstract confirming - **Required** : **a) No violations/accidents for the current year (last 12 months) and no more than 2 violations for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months)** **b) No traffic violations/accidents within the last 12 months and maximum 5 demerit points for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months)** Ability to lift-up to 70 lbs. (32kg) unassisted. **Required** Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills Must successfully complete a Pre-Employment Road Test **Compensation and Benefits** 2 weeks of paid vacation after one year of service. 3 weeks of paid vacation after five years of service. 4 weeks of paid vacation after 10 years of service.
