Hays is proud to be partnering with a leading Real Estate company to hire a skilled Resident Manager to support a luxury Condominium, Position Overview The LiveIn Resident Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily administrative operations of the condominium, providing on-site support to residents, and coordinating all maintenance and building services. This role ensures the property is well-maintained, secure, and operating efficiently, while delivering a high level of customer service to the condo community. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, service-driven, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a residential building environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Administrative & Office Duties Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for residents, contractors, and visitors. Maintain accurate records, logs, incident reports, and unit files. Assist owners and residents with forms, notices, amenity bookings, and general inquiries. Distribute and post building notices as required. Support the Property Manager in preparing weekly updates, reports, and documentation for board meetings. Handle daily correspondence (email, phone, written notices). Maintain inventory of building supplies and order replacements as needed. Assist with access control administration (key fobs, entry systems, etc.). 2. Maintenance Coordination Conduct daily building inspections of common areas, mechanical rooms, grounds, and amenities. Identify and report maintenance issues promptly; follow up until completion. Schedule, coordinate, and supervise trades, service providers, and contractors. Monitor ongoing maintenance contracts (e.g., cleaning, landscaping, elevators, HVAC). Ensure all service logs, maintenance records, and contractor reports are up to date. Support preventive maintenance programs and seasonal building preparations. Respond to emergency maintenance situations and coordinate repair actions. 3. Resident Support & Customer Service Provide professional, courteous assistance to residents and address concerns in a timely manner. Maintain strong communication with owners, tenants, and board members. Uphold condominium policies, rules, and bylaws. Assist with move-ins, move-outs, and elevator bookings. Help foster a safe, respectful, and community-oriented environment. 4. Building Operations & Safety Perform routine checks of security systems, lighting, fire safety equipment, and building entrances. Monitor waste and recycling areas and coordinate pick-up services. Ensure compliance with building safety standards and condominium policies. Respond to building emergencies (fire alarms, floods, power outages) and liaise with emergency services as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in residential property management, building operations, or condominium administration preferred. Strong administrative and organizational skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to coordinate maintenance tasks and interact effectively with contractors and service providers. Basic understanding of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) is an asset. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and respond to after-hours situations. Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, property management software). Working Conditions Live-in accommodation provided as part of the compensation. Must be available for on-call emergencies and after-hours support when required. Some physical activity may be required (light lifting, inspections, minor tasks).
