Macrotek Inc. is looking for a Warehouse Associate. We are a small, very experienced, interdisciplinary company specializing in custom-designed and engineered pollution control system solutions for a variety of industries. We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations and general facility needs. This role involves receiving and preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse organization, and assisting with light assembly and administrative tasks. There is significant opportunity for training and growth for the right individual. This is a full-time, salaried position, working out of the office/warehouse Mon-Fri, 8:30am - 4:30pm. Salary is dependent on the individuals experience. Key Responsibilities: Receiving & Inspection Inspect incoming goods against purchase orders Take photos and document received items Sign and file packing slips Notify the purchaser of deliveries and discrepancies Organize and store materials until required Shipping & Outgoing Goods Prepare and package outgoing shipments Log shipments and take photos for records Assist with preparing packing lists and shipping documentation Warehouse Operations Load and unload trucks and trailers Maintain organization of warehouse space, tools, and stock items Ensure efficient use of storage space Administrative Support Assist with preparing purchase orders for general items Contact vendors for pricing information Assist with spare parts proposals Provide minor project-related administrative support General Maintenance Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and office environment Perform basic facility tasks such as changing light bulbs and removing garbage Ensure workspaces remain clean and safe Assembly Support Assist with basic assembly, piping, and wiring tasks as needed Use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively Qualifications & Requirements: Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or shop experience is preferred Ability to safely lift and move materials using proper equipment when required Comfortable using hand tools and basic power tools Experience operating a pallet jack or dolly Ability to work independently and assist across multiple areas of the business Strong organizational and time-management skills Good attention to detail, particularly when checking incoming goods against purchase orders and preparing shipments Ability to work independently and take initiative without constant supervision Basic computer skills (email, simple spreadsheets, or inventory tracking) Valid drivers license is an asset Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment Experience with basic assembly, piping, or wiring tasks in a workshop or industrial environment Comfortable working in a small team environment where responsibilities vary day-to-day Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to take ownership of tasks Growth Opportunity: This position offers excellent opportunities for growth and career development for a motivated individual interested in expanding their skills in warehouse operations and project support.
