The Opportunity As a Structural Drafter in the Energy, Resources & Industry (ERI) team, youll bring technical precision and design excellence to projects that power industries and drive sustainable progress. Youll work on heavy industrial and mining projects across the Greater Toronto/Hamilton area and the Golden Horseshoe, located in Thornhill, Etobicoke or Mississauga. Your Impact Apply modelling and design knowledge from conceptual design to completion, producing models and drawings for planning and construction. Ensure technical quality, visualisation, cost effectiveness, and develop client relationships. Attend sites to observe work in realtime and verify construction progress. Perform material quantity takeoff for steel structures, foundations, excavation and earthworks. Work in CAD and REVIT to develop drawings for foundations, steel structures, masonry and concrete. Prepare structural steel 3D models and 2D drawings for industrial buildings, pipe racks, tank foundations, rail track platforms, equipment platforms and more. Collaborate with the design team and crossdisciplinary colleagues for seamless project execution. Act as a clientfacing designer, conduct field reviews, gather information, and take measurements. The Skills That Set You Apart College diploma in civil engineering technology, structural engineering or equivalent. 5+ years of relevant experience in structural drafting, especially in heavy industrial and/or mining projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT. Experience with 2D and 3D modelling. Strong understanding of steel and concrete foundations. Experience in a large project and multidisciplinary EPCM environment. Compensation BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $77,400 $102,500 MB & ON: $70,600 $97,200 Atlantic Provinces & QC: $69,900 $92,900 Disclosure: Final salary may vary based on factors such as education, qualifications, experience, seniority, geographic location, performance and business needs.
