Job Details Position: Executive Chef Employer: Rawley Resort Location: Port Severn, ON, L0K 1S0 (On site) Posted on: March 17, 2026 Advertised until: 2026-04-07 Salary: $36.00 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week Employment type: Permanent, full-time Schedule: Early morning, morning, day, evening, night, weekend Vacancies: 2 About the Role As an Executive Chef, you will oversee the kitchen operations, manage staff, develop menus, and ensure high-quality food service across the resorts restaurants. Responsibilities Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks and other kitchen workers Create new recipes Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions Requisition food and kitchen supplies Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets and specialty functions Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities of several restaurants Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances Recruit and hire staff Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food Leading/instructing individuals Supervision Manage 5-10 kitchen staff members. Requirements Education: Other trades certificate or diploma Experience: 3 to less than 5 years in a kitchen setting Work setting: Restaurant, Hotel, motel, resort Rank: Executive chef Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Dependability, initiative, organized, reliable, team player Physical ability to work in a fastpaced environment, stand, walk, bend, crouch and kneel for extended periods Eligibility You can apply if you are: A Canadian citizen A permanent resident of Canada A temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit Do not apply if you are not authorized to work in Canada.
