BW Retail New Dundee Are you a mix of a data enthusiast and a mechanical gearhead? We are seeking a Product Developer to join our Product Development Team. In this role, you wont just be sitting behind a screen; youll be the bridge between market data and physical product reality. You will help coordinate the entire Development Lifecyclefrom identifying the market opportunity of the next big Powersport or Outdoor Power Equipment part to ensuring it hits the market with the right specs, price, and quality. What Youll Be Doing Market Intelligence: Use internal tools and market research to identify high-potential products and conduct competitive analysis to determine market sizing and sales volume. Hands-on Analysis: Physically inspect and document development samples, identifying key technical specifications and ensuring manufacturing partners meet quality standards. Sourcing: Manage RFQs and coordinate with manufacturing partners on packaging, cost, and quality requirements. Project Forecasting: Build and maintain detailed projections to forecast revenue, calculate profitability (tariffs, transport, etc.), and present findings to senior management. Product Launch: Lead the creation of technical manuals and packaging and provide ''hand-off'' packages to Sales & Marketing to ensure successful eCommerce launches. What Well Need From You The Credentials: A Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Excel Mastery: You are a ''power user'' (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) who enjoys distilling complex data into actionable insights. Mechanical Aptitude: You can look at a mechanical part and understand its function, specs, and manufacturing constraints. Forecasting Acumen: Experience in project costing, margin analysis, and forecasting. Communication: The ability to negotiate with global partners and present clearly to internal leadership.
