Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach, building a strong and sustainable pipeline. Develop and execute strategies to grow a profitable book of business while maintaining high ethical standards and compliance with industry regulations. Client Relationship Management Act as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong, long-term relationships through consistent and professional communication. Conduct comprehensive annual reviews to assess client exposures, recommend coverage enhancements, and align insurance solutions with evolving business needs. Deliver tailored insurance strategies, including cross-selling and upselling opportunities that add value to the clients overall risk management plan. Provide claims counselling and ongoing support, ensuring clients feel confident and supported throughout the policy lifecycle. Account & Service Management Manage and service a portfolio of commercial accounts with a high level of accuracy, responsiveness, and attention to detail. Maintain up-to-date client and underwriting information within the Broker Management System, ensuring data integrity and compliance. Prepare documentation that meets brokerage, insurer, and regulatory standards, supporting smooth policy placement and renewals. Collaborate with Senior Account Managers and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and effective account management. Collaboration & Team Contribution Work closely with the Commercial Team, maintaining open communication and contributing to a collaborative and supportive environment. Participate in team meetings and initiatives, sharing insights and contributing to overall departmental success. Support colleagues and demonstrate flexibility to meet team and client needs, reinforcing a positive and high-performing culture. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of commercial insurance experience. Minimum Level 2 General Insurance License. Proven sales ability with strong customer service and relationship management skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively. A self-motivated mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Confidence and comfort with prospecting and business development activities.
