This may include case management, crisis intervention and supportive counseling. The incumbent must be able to work independently in a challenging and rewarding values-based environment. Develop and maintain a caseload Complete an intake and assessment on each resident Design, implement, in consultation with supervisor, an interview schedule that will provide an evaluation of ''quality of life'' improvement of successful program participants Maintain confidentiality with regards to clients/staff and Centre''s records Observe all health and safety rules and work in compliance with the provisions of the occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations What You''ll Bring to Our Team Post-secondary education in a related field is required Applicants should possess a thorough knowledge of issues impacting cis women, trans and non-binary individuals including violence, abuse, mental illness, homelessness, poverty and substance use Experience working in a residential setting is preferred Demonstrated experience with Intake and Assessment A demonstrated commitment to the mission values of availability, flexibility, adaptability, hospitality and dignity is essential C.P.R. certification (or willingness to be certified) A valid Ontario driver''s license (G) is also an asset The successful candidate will have a flexible schedule Ability to speak French and/or other languages considered an asset A respectful and rewarding work environment with ongoing opportunities to grow and learn.
