Salary: 40.18- 56.79 per hour, in accordance with Ontario Nurses'' Association Contract (ONA) Position Summary The Public Health Nurse (PHN) is an integral member of the Northwestern Health Unit team and provides public health nursing services based on the principles of Public Health, health promotion and disease prevention. Inherent in this role, the PHN applies specialized knowledge, skills, and professional judgment to plan, implement, and evaluate programs and services that support the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities. While the role may have a primary program focus on Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD), the PHN collaborates across teams and supports a range of public health programs and services as needed.
