ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Enactus Canada is seeking a Manager, Partnerships to join our team on a oneyear pregnancy/parental leave contract. Reporting to the Director, Partnerships, this role plays an important part in expanding philanthropic support for Enactus Canadas programs by cultivating relationships with individual donors, foundations, and corporations who are passionate about youth leadership, social innovation, and entrepreneurship. The successful candidate will be a relationshipdriven fundraiser who is comfortable making the ask, someone who enjoys building genuine connections with donors and translating their interests into meaningful support for studentled initiatives across the country. This is an excellent opportunity for a fundraising professional with approximately 3-5 years of experience. There may be the opportunity for a fulltime role following the contract term, depending on organizational needs and performance. This role is based in Toronto and operates within a hybrid work environment. Team members are generally expected to work in the office 3-4 days per week, with flexibility for remote work as appropriate. During peak periods of the program calendar (including Regional Expositions, the National Exposition, and other major events), additional in-office collaboration may be required. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES The Manager, Partnerships will be expected to actively engage donors through meetings, proposals, and direct solicitations, contributing to annual fundraising goals aligned with Enactus Canadas partnership and philanthropy strategy. Identify, cultivate, and solicit philanthropic gifts from individual donors and foundations, typically in the $250-$10,000+ range. Build and manage a portfolio of prospective and current donors. Conduct donor outreach meetings, presentations, and stewardship engagements. Prepare donor proposals, impact reports, and stewardship communications. Support targeted fundraising campaigns and donor engagement initiatives. Collaborate with program staff to align donor interests with Enactus Canada initiatives. Support stewardship and engagement of existing partners and supporters. Maintain accurate donor engagement records within the organizations CRM. Represent Enactus Canada at events, partner meetings, and community engagements. QUALIFICATIONS 3-5 years of experience in fundraising or development. Demonstrated experience in personally soliciting philanthropic gifts. Experience raising gifts typically in the $250-$10,000+ range. Strong relationshipbuilding and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience preparing donor proposals, grant applications, reports, and stewardship materials. Strong organizational and project management abilities. A collaborative approach and ability to work across teams. A passion for social impact, entrepreneurship, and youth leadership development. Travel to Regional (3), National, and Global events may also be required typically for 3-5 days each throughout the year. Assets Bilingualism in English and French is a strong asset, but is not required. Experience with or familiarity with the Enactus program, social innovation, social enterprise, or entrepreneurshipfocused organizations. Experience fundraising within the postsecondary, youth leadership development, or education sectors. Familiarity with the Canadian philanthropic landscape, Experience using donor management or CRM systems. Existing relationships within entrepreneurship, innovation, or philanthropic communities in Canada. Experience as an entrepreneur, founder, or participant in entrepreneurship or innovation programs.
