Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair production equipment including coffee roasters, grinders, conveyors, packaging lines, and material handling systems. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure reliable plant operations. Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Support equipment upgrades, process improvements, and plant optimization initiatives. Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and food manufacturing practices (GMP, HACCP). Collaborate with production and quality teams to maintain efficient and uninterrupted operations. Qualifications Industrial Electrician Certification required; Red Seal Millwright certification considered an asset. Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in food, beverage, or manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems. Hands-on experience with mechanical components including pumps, bearings, gearboxes, belts, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Proven troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues under time-sensitive conditions. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. Commitment to workplace safety and food manufacturing standards.
