About the Project Cross Fraser Partnership (CFP) is a Bouygues Construction Canada Inc., Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas Canada Ltd., Pomerleau BC Inc. and Arcadis Canada Inc. general partnership that has been selected to collaboratively deliver a new, eight-lane immersed tube tunnel that will replace the existing George Massey Tunnel on Highway 99. The new tunnel will have three vehicle lanes and a dedicated transit lane in each direction, with a separated active transportation corridor for cyclists and pedestrians. Position Overview The Health & Safety Management Systems Lead is a technical role responsible for managing and optimizing safety data systems, dashboards, and analytical reporting to support informed decision-making across the project. This position focuses on leveraging data to identify trends, measure performance, and drive continuous improvement in health and safety programs. The role is suited for candidates with a strong analytical background, including recent university graduates in science-related disciplines or professionals with advanced degrees seeking to apply technical expertise within a safety environment. Reporting to Health & Safety leadership, this position plays a key role in strengthening safety performance through data-driven insights. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain health and safety data systems, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and consistency of information. Develop, build, and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track safety KPIs and performance metrics. Analyze large volumes of safety data, including incidents, inspections, audits, and training records to identify trends and risk patterns. Generate regular analytical reports to support leadership decision-making and regulatory compliance. Support the development and monitoring of safety performance indicators and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with safety teams to interpret data findings and translate insights into actionable safety programs. Identify system improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements to data collection and reporting processes. Ensure traceability and proper documentation of safety records for audits and compliance reviews. Support incident investigations through statistical analysis and trend evaluation. Assist in integrating safety systems with project management and operational reporting platforms. Provide technical support and guidance to safety personnel regarding data tools and reporting systems. Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the projects Health & Safety Management System through data-driven methodologies. Education and qualifications Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field. 25 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or safety systems management in construction, marine or infrastructure projects. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets. Experience building dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar platforms. Proficiency in data management and visualization tools. Understanding of health and safety principles and regulatory frameworks. Ability to translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights for operational teams. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication skills to present data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
