Human Resources Generalist Mississauga, Ontario | Fully In-Office Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must have prior HR experience within a Professional Services environment (e.g., law firm, accounting firm, consulting firm, or similar partnership-based organization ). A growing professional services firm is seeking an HR Generalist to support and strengthen its people operations. This role will be part of a collaborative internal team and will play an important role in recruitment, employee engagement, policy development, and day-to-day HR operations. The position offers strong exposure across the full HR function and is well suited for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced professional services environment where HR is closely integrated with firm leadership and operations. Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Manage full-cycle recruitment including job postings, resume screening, interviews, background/reference checks, and offer preparation Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process Assist with drafting job descriptions and role profiles Onboarding & Employee Experience Develop and administer onboarding programs for new hires Support initiatives focused on employee engagement and workplace culture HR Policies & Compliance Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in alignment with employment legislation and best practices Assist with health and safety programs and compliance initiatives Employee Relations Support matters related to leaves of absence, absence management, performance concerns, and workplace conduct Participate in disciplinary processes and termination meetings when required HR Operations Prepare HR documentation including offer letters, promotion letters, and employment correspondence Support performance review cycles including mid-year and annual evaluations Assist with internal HR programs, projects, and process improvements Qualifications Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management or related field 35 years of HR experience , ideally in a Generalist capacity Experience working within a professional services or law firm environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Collaborative team mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach CHRP or CHRL designation considered an asset About Minted Search Group We work with mid-sized and boutique law and accounting firms and private companies across Canada and the U.S. the kinds of organizations doing top-tier work without the layers of a massive shop.
