Role Overview As a Senior CAD and Revit Drafter, you will focus mainly on drafting and some design, optimizing workflows, reducing errors, and improving feedback systems to deliver precise, high-quality cladding shop drawings for clients. Key Responsibilities Produce detailed architectural faade shop drawings and production drawings using AutoCAD and Revit Prepare cladding layouts, sections, details, and installation drawings for fabrication and construction Develop and maintain AutoCAD templates, Revit families, and drafting standards Coordinate drawings with architects, engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams Review project documents to ensure compliance with design intent and project specifications Identify drafting improvements to reduce errors and improve workflow efficiency Maintain high standards of accuracy, coordination, and documentation quality Lead BIM coordination across project teams to ensure drawings are accurate and consistent with design intent Prepare and maintain material take-offs and Bills of Materials (BOM) to support project managers and fabrication teams Qualifications Bachelors degree in Architecture , Engineering, Architectural Technology, or related field 10+ years of drafting experience in faade/cladding/building envelope projects Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit Strong experience preparing shop drawings for faade systems (rainscreen, metal panels, etc.) Experience creating Revit families, templates, and drafting standards Strong knowledge of architectural detailing and construction documentation Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams Strong written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with BIM workflows is an asset Autodesk Revit or AutoCAD certification preferred Benefits: Competitive salary and bonus structure Comprehensive health insurance package Generous paid time off and holidays Professional development opportunities Collaborative and supportive work environment If you are an experienced Autodesk Revit user with an architectural background and a passion for driving change, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity at Mitrex and Cladify.
