JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a Marketing & Events Manager with direct experience at a Canadian investment dealer who understands advisor businesses, compliance requirements, and how to execute marketing strategies that drive measurable growth. This role leads Designeds national marketing strategy, advisor-facing events, and marketing operations. You will strengthen brand positioning, support advisor recruitment, and deliver compliant, data-driven programs aligned with firm growth objectives. You will also manage and develop a team of marketing associates and work closely with Executive Leadership, Compliance, and Operations. RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Marketing & Growth Develop and execute national marketing and recruitment campaigns Lead brand positioning and thought leadership initiatives Establish KPIs and report on performance Marketing Operations & CRM Own and manage Microsoft Dynamics Customer Insights Oversee segmentation, automation, campaign tracking, and reporting Leverage CRM insights to drive recruitment and event ROI Advisor Enablement & Events Build compliant digital marketing frameworks for advisors Lead execution of national conferences, roadshows, and industry presence Ensure events support advisor acquisition and engagement Team Leadership Manage and mentor a team of marketing associates Set priorities, ensure accountability, and drive execution Required Experience 5+ years of marketing experience at a Canadian investment dealer or wealth management firm Strong understanding of CIRO marketing and compliance standards Experience working directly with financial advisors Hands-on CRM experience; Microsoft Dynamics Customer Insights preferred Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage a team Experience executing advisor-focused events The ideal candidate is strategic, data-driven, and execution-focused, with the ability to operate confidently in a regulated environment and deliver measurable results.
