Position Profile: Vice President, Operations Our client is seeking a Vice President, Operations to provide senior leadership across a regional energy distribution business serving a diverse customer base. The role is accountable for driving operational performance, commercial growth, and a consistently high standard of customer service. The Vice President will lead a multi-disciplinary team across sales, customer service, logistics, and field operations, ensuring that day-to-day execution aligns with the companys operational objectives and long-term growth strategy. Operating in an environment characterized by dynamic market conditions, seasonal demand variability, and high customer expectations, the Vice President will be responsible for balancing operational efficiency with service reliability. This includes overseeing distribution and service delivery activities, advancing commercial initiatives that support customer acquisition and retention, and ensuring operational systems and processes support scalable growth. The role also works closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities to strengthen market position through both organic growth and strategic initiatives. A core component of the mandate is leadership and team development. The Vice President will mentor operational leaders, establish performance expectations, and work collaboratively across functionsincluding finance and human resourcesto strengthen organizational capability, improve performance metrics, and build a strong talent pipeline. Equally critical is fostering a culture centered on safety, accountability, and customer focus across all aspects of the operation. The successful candidate will bring a hands-on leadership style and a strong understanding of service delivery within a distribution or logistics-oriented environment. Experience managing complex operations, leading cross-functional teams, and driving both operational and commercial outcomes will be essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate competing priorities while maintaining a clear focus on operational excellence and long-term business performance.
