Position Overview: Were hiring a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to manage and support payroll operations for our growing team. Youll play a key role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining payroll records and supporting compliance with payroll regulations. The wage range for this role is $25 $30 per hour, depending on skills and experience. What Youll Be Responsible For: Processing payroll accurately and on schedule Maintaining and updating payroll records and employee information Calculating wages, overtime, deductions, and adjustments Ensuring compliance with payroll regulations and company policies Responding to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner Preparing payroll reports and reconciliations Keeping consistent communication with HR in regards to payroll Assisting with payroll-related filings and documentation Processing and keeping track of companys benefits Supporting the accounting team with administrative and reporting tasks as needed What Were Looking For: 35 years of experience of progressive payroll experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Strong communication and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with ADP WorkforceNow is a strong asset Experience with QuickBooks Online is a strong asset Payroll designation (PCP or similar) is considered a strong asset Why Work With Us: Group benefits plan includes medical & dental care Annual boot allowance Hiring referral bonuses $250 for each successful hire you recommend Growth opportunities in a sustainability-driven company Make a real impact on your community and the environment
