Family Law Clerk 6+ Years Litigation Experience Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid After Probation) About the Role Talent Renew has partnered with a well-established and highly respected law firm to recruit a Senior Family Law Clerk to join its dynamic Family Law group. The team consists of experienced lawyers and legal professionals who are well recognized within the legal community for their work in family law litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced law clerk who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys working on complex family law matters. Responsibilities Draft and analyze financial statements and financial disclosure materials Prepare, draft, and revise legal documents, including pleadings, affidavits, conference briefs, and correspondence Communicate regularly with lawyers, clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders Compile and organize court documents, including conference briefs and motion materials Assist with the preparation of briefs and records for mediations, examinations, motions, and trials Monitor deadlines, maintain accurate diarization, and assist lawyers in preparing timely filings and responses Manage lawyers calendars and schedule appointments, mediations, discoveries, pre-trials, motions, trials, and virtual meetings Provide additional administrative and litigation support as required What We Are Looking For Minimum 6 years of family law litigation experience Strong knowledge of Family Law Rules and court procedures Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Experience with hyperlinking and bookmarking legal documents Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel Experience with DivorceMate, Kofax PDF, iManage, Zoom, and Soluno is considered an asset A proactive team player with strong attention to detail and initiative Whats Offered Competitive compensation Paid time off Employer-paid benefits coverage The hybrid work model is available after the probation period Opportunity to join a highly respected family law team Compensation Expected salary range: $80,000 $120,000 , depending on experience and qualifications.
