Job Description

Overview Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. We work with small home service businesses, like plumbers, electricians, painters, and landscapers, to transform the way service is delivered through technology. With Jobber, they can quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments from their customers while providing an easy and professional customer experience. Our culture is built on transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation. Jobber has been recognized by Great Place to Work, Canadas Most Admired Corporate Cultures, and on lists such as Globe and Mails Canadas Top Growing Companies, Deloitte Canadas Technology Fast 50 and related lists. Our Executive team brings over thirty years of industry experience, and weve grown from our first customer in 2011 to where we are today. Getting paid is a critical moment in a small business workflow. Invoices go out late, checks get delayed, and owners spend time chasing money instead of running their business. Jobber Payments helps more customers discover, adopt, and get value from Jobber Payments, enabling faster, smoother payments. The Role Were looking for a Senior Product Manager, Payments Growth to help more customers discover, adopt, and get value from Jobber Payments. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of customer experience and product growth. Youll own key parts of the payments funnel across discovery, enablement, activation, and retention, helping more Pros get up and running with Jobber Payments and experience the value of getting paid fast. Role scope includes owning the strategy and execution behind growing Jobber Payments adoption and usage. Youll consider the full customer journey: how customers discover payments, understand the value, enable the product, activate successfully, integrate it into their workflow, and continue using it over time. Youll identify where the experience breaks down, where friction exists, and where the biggest opportunities are to improve conversion and retention. Some work will shape longer-term strategy; other work will involve experiments, rapid learning, and iteration to achieve better outcomes. This role suits someone who is strategic and scrappy, who can spot opportunities in data, talk directly to customers, and move from insight to action. You should be excited to own outcomes, not just ship features. Responsibilities Own the growth strategy and roadmap for Jobber Payments, with accountability across discovery, enablement, activation, retention, and revenue outcomes. Identify and prioritize the biggest opportunities across the funnel, from awareness and signup through onboarding, first-use, repeat usage, and long-term retention. Partner with Design, Engineering, and Data to run experiments and ship improvements that reduce friction, improve conversion, and increase adoption. Make the value of Jobber Payments clear throughout the customer journey, especially in the moments that drive activation and first payment. Use qualitative and quantitative insights to understand customer behavior and make better product decisions. Collaborate with partners across Risk, Payments Operations, Marketing, Sales, and GTM to create scalable, compliant, and effective paths to growth. Balance short-term experimentation with long-term product strategy to drive durable growth and stronger customer outcomes. Qualifications Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager owning a customer-facing product area with clear business accountability and a track record of driving measurable outcomes. Experience working on growth, onboarding, monetization, or funnel optimization, ideally in fintech, payments, SaaS, or platform businesses. Strong product sense and analytical rigor. You know how to use data to identify opportunities, size impact, evaluate results, and turn insights into strategy. Hands-on experience running experiments and learning quickly. Youre comfortable using testing and iteration to improve outcomes. A scrappy, resourceful mindset and the ability to make progress in ambiguous spaces, work through constraints, and focus on what matters most. The ability to connect customer problems to business outcomes and turn both into clear product strategy and prioritization. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to align stakeholders around goals, trade-offs, and outcomes. Comfort operating in a high-visibility area where customer experience, revenue, operational realities, and technical constraints all matter, with a high bar for ownership, effectiveness, and follow-through. Bonus points Experience in payments, fintech, billing, checkout, invoicing, or other financial workloads. Experience in vertical SaaS or serving small businesses. Location Location flexibility: the role is open to candidates based in Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, or Kitchener-Waterloo. Compensation Minimum annual salary of $145,900, with a midpoint of $171,600 and a maximum of $197,400, designed to reflect growth from learning the ropes to excelling. The base salary is complemented by equity rewards, annual health and wellness stipends, retirement matching, and an extended health package with fully paid premiums for body and mind. You will have access to a dedicated talent development program including coaching and career development opportunities. We value transparency and open conversations about compensation throughout the hiring process. What you can expect from Jobber A total compensation package with extended health benefits, retirement matching options, and stock options. A dedicated Talent Development team offering coaching and leadership programs. A chance to build and grow within a $400-billion industry that has no dominant player yet. Collaborative and supportive colleagues who care about customers. We believe that diverse teams perform better and that fostering an inclusive work environment is a key part of growing a successful team. We are an equal opportunity employer and we support accommodation requests at any stage of the hiring process. A bit more about us Job by job, were transforming how service is delivered.
