The Opportunity An Electrical Project Manager is being sought to join the Hamilton / London office and support the delivery of complex building services projects. This role is suited for an organized and technically capable professional who enjoys coordinating teams, managing competing priorities, and ensuring projects stay on track from concept through construction. Working closely with senior leadership and multidisciplinary teams, the successful candidate will oversee design coordination, maintain project schedules and budgets, and ensure that technical deliverables meet quality and regulatory requirements. This position also involves direct interaction with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution. This is an immediate opening created to support ongoing project demand. Key Responsibilities Lead electrical building services projects from initial design through construction completion. Prepare or support the development of system design concepts and technical reports. Perform engineering calculations and assist in selecting appropriate equipment and systems. Coordinate project documentation with architects, consultants, and other engineering disciplines. Review drawings, specifications, and reports to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with internal quality standards. Ensure project documentation aligns with applicable building codes, electrical standards, and regulatory requirements. Monitor project schedules, deliverables, and fee allocation to maintain project performance. Respond to technical and commercial questions from clients and project stakeholders. Oversee shop drawing reviews and ensure timely processing within project timelines. Collaborate with vendors and external consultants to support efficient project delivery. Support construction-phase services including contract administration and change management when required. Track project scope changes and coordinate contract amendments with senior leadership. Organize and lead client meetings, presentations, and project coordination sessions. Assist with billing coordination and support the accounts receivable process. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 3+ years of experience in electrical building services engineering or consulting. Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or working toward licensure is preferred; experienced C.E.T. professionals will also be considered. Experience working on multidisciplinary building projects in collaboration with architects and contractors. Strong familiarity with provincial building codes and electrical standards including CSA, NFPA, IEEE, ULC, and IES. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and client-facing skills. Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to work independently. Knowledge of sustainable building design practices or LEED certification considered an asset. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability. Compensation Transparency The expected compensation range for this role is $90,000 - $125,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. All other non-discretionary compensation will be discussed during the hiring process.
