About Our Opportunity Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Services, the Corporate Services Coordinator is responsible for supporting business continuity management, process improvement, document control, and facilities management in the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture. This position plays a key role in supporting departmental operational resilience, including preparedness, continuity of services, and continuous improvement of internal business processes. The successful candidate will be able to contribute immediately to business continuity planning and process improvement initiatives that support divisional and departmental priorities. Primary Accountabilities As the Business Continuity Coordinator, develop and implement business continuity and emergency management plans, and promote best practices, standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures. As a Business Process Improvement Leader, champion and support departmental process improvement projects and document control projects through staff consultation, development of process maps and associated tools. Act as the alternate contact for facilities management and, in collaboration with the Facilities Management Lead, coordinate and track facilities and spacerelated requests in support of staff in our workplaces across the province. Qualifications and Experience This may be the right opportunity for you if you have a bachelors degree in a related field along with one year of related experience. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and possess strong interpersonal and client services skills. Discretion and the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information, along with a high degree of computer literacy and a good knowledge of standard office software, is required. Teamwork is key to this role as you will help enhance and maintain staff cooperation and team cohesiveness. You must be a team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision, exercise sound judgement, set priorities and work efficiently within deadlines with minimal supervision. Applicants are asked to clearly demonstrate in their application their experience with the following: Business continuity management Process improvement initiative support and coordination across divisions and departments or within organizations Internal client engagement, documentation development, and implementation support The following qualifications will be considered assets: Training, certification, or designation related to business continuity, emergency management, risk management, or process improvement (e.g., Green Belt, LSS, BCMO, ICMS, etc.). Experience with process mapping, workflow analysis, documentation standardization, and implementation of improved business practices. Knowledge of facilities management processes in a government context. We will assess the above qualifications using one or more of the following tools: written examination, standardized tests, oral presentations, interview(s), and reference checks. Pay Grade: PR 06 Salary Range: $2,071.44$2,540.10 Bi-Weekly Note: The salary rates shown are effective April 1, 2026. Should you start in this position before April 1, 2026, your salary will be based on the current rates until April 1.
