Heres What Youll Do Daily operational support and troubleshooting working with team members, end users, Epic vendor and other thirdparty vendors to investigate and prioritize addressing issues and requests Working with stakeholders and Epic team members to resolve previously submitted enhancement requests Partner with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to align Epic functionality with SickKids business and care delivery needs Support workflow analysis, troubleshooting, system enhancements, upgrades, and testing activities Design, build, and maintain Epic Questionnaires and SmartForms Address and resolve issues within Patient Experience applications Participate in project work, including enhancements, optimizations, and regulatory or compliance related initiatives Perform indepth analysis of workflows, define requirements, analyse, build, test and implement small to large initiatives Assess new functionality in system releases, software updates and fixes to ensure compatibility with organisational standards and practices Develop and document procedures for implementing system changes and other tasks/projects to support team knowledge base Present analysis and recommendations to governance committees and participate in roadmap planning in partnership with various stakeholders Lead and represent application in organisational projects that have significant impacts to patients, families, and clinical care teams Work closely with business intelligence developers, technical and training teams to deliver high customer service for operational and project support Heres What Youll Need Postsecondary degree or diploma in a healthrelated field or experienced in clinical, patient access, health information or project management roles Proven solid experience developing and executing clinical/technical implementation plans Experience with a Project Management tools and knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices Proficient with requirements gathering, analysis, workflow design and documentation Experience with Microsoft Office applications (MS Outlook, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint, Visio) and workflow mapping tool(s) Superior customer service and interpersonal skills Strong communication, organisation, problem solving, critical thinking skills and detailoriented Proactive, selfstarter who can prioritise effectively, manage their time, and learn quickly Team player who requires little supervision and fosters a positive and collaborative environment Ability to lead meetings, resolve conflicts, maintain issues and enhancements lists, and manage a project plan Ability to probe for information about the underlying needs of the organisation and user community, which directly influences how the system will be built Eagerness to learn the system and promote it within the organisation Understand importance and demonstrates ability to foster a culture of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Ability to successfully complete required Epic training and certification within required timelines Assets Epic Certification or strong working knowledge of Epics Ambulatory module Experience with SmartForms and Patient Access modules Familiarity with ITIL4 concepts and ADKAR change management methodology ServiceNow experience Employment Type: Fulltime, 1year contract. This position requires the candidate to be on call after hours, on a rotational basis.
