Key Responsibilities As the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operational, service, and people leadership success of the branch. Acting as the primary liaison between Team Members and Senior Leadership, you will ensure seamless daily operations, strong performance outcomes, regulatory compliance, and a positive, engaged workplace culture. You will play a key role in guiding staff, optimizing workflows, and serving as a trusted resource for product knowledge and operational excellence. Essential Job Functions Leadership & Staff Management Act as the primary point of contact for all team members, providing consistent leadership, direction, and support. Lead regular team meetings and collaborate with leadership to align on priorities, performance, and strategic initiatives. Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and open communication. Conduct daily checkins to monitor workflow, address capacity challenges, and ensure team success. Oversee quality control to ensure all work meets organizational and regulatory standards. Staffing, HR & Performance Management Support fullcycle staffing activities including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding in collaboration with leadership. Address performance concerns proactively by identifying root causes and implementing effective improvement plans. Lead structured performance reviews, including probationary assessments and ongoing development conversations. MPI Oversight (KAP Responsibilities) Oversee Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI) operations, ensuring accuracy in balancing, reporting, and compliance activities. Monitor inventory, communicate updates, and ensure all MPIrelated processes are followed consistently. Support staff training and development in MPI systems and procedures. Personal Lines Leadership & Sales Lead and mentor the Personal Lines team to achieve strong service and sales performance. Monitor key metrics such as production, retention, and underwriting quality to drive results. Support the development and execution of sales strategies to grow the book of business. Provide training and guidance on Personal Lines products, processes, and best practices. Collaborate with leadership to analyze performance data and identify opportunities for growth. Training, Mentoring & Development Design and coordinate training programs to support team growth and capability development. Provide tailored coaching to address individual performance gaps and enhance skills. Ensure team members meet licensing and continuing education requirements. Share insights, updates, and market trends to keep the team informed and competitive. Customer Experience & Relationships Ensure all client interactions are handled professionally, accurately, and in a timely manner. Resolve escalated client concerns with a focus on maintaining trust and satisfaction. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and industry partners. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the customer experience and service delivery. Culture, Engagement & Projects Promote a positive team culture through engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and events. Lead teambuilding activities that strengthen collaboration and morale. Partner with leadership to implement branch initiatives and continuous improvement projects. Identify and act on opportunities to enhance operational performance and team effectiveness.
