Responsibilities Platform Modernization & Migration : Drive the transition from legacy systems to Azurebased architecture, ensuring interoperability and minimal disruption. Architecture & Engineering : Design and implement a highperforming data platform leveraging Databricks, cloudnative services, and common data models. Integration & Enablement : Ensure the platform provides seamless data access and sharing capabilities, enabling stakeholders to discover, consume, and utilize trusted data assets. AI & GenAI Enablement : Help build platform capabilities to support advanced AI workloads and emerging technologies for datadriven decisionmaking. Data Governance & MDM : Implement strong governance frameworks and Master Data Management to maintain data integrity and compliance. Agile Delivery : Apply agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and ServiceNow to enable rapid iteration and continuous improvement. Strategic Planning & Roadmap : Develop and execute a comprehensive roadmap for data platform modernization, driving migration from legacy systems to Azure and Databricks. Monitor trends and refine strategy. Data Architecture & Principles : Define architecture principles and standards, maintain comprehensive enterprise data architecture that aligns with organizational goals. Data Modeling & Master Data Management : Design logical and canonical data models, lead MDM strategy and implementation. Data Governance & Quality : Collaborate with stakeholders to develop governance policies, perform data lifecycle management, and implement data quality frameworks. Data Platforms & Infrastructure : Lead data modernization initiatives, architect and optimize data lakes, warehouses, lakehouse environments, and metadata management. Analytics, AI/ML & Data Products : Enable governed selfservice analytics ecosystems, guide data product development, and promote data observability. Security & Compliance : Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure data protection, threat detection, and regulatory compliance. Organizational Enablement & Leadership : Champion data literacy, develop KPIs and metrics for data architecture performance, and foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement. Business Strategy and Operations Knowledge : Understand organizations business strategy and operations to ensure platform capabilities support business objectives. Stakeholder Interaction : Engage with key stakeholders, contribute to discussions with business executives, IT leadership, and external partners to understand business needs and communicate architectural concepts. Education Bachelor''''s or Master''''s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Requirements 10+ years of proven experience working with data platforms and architecture, data engineering, or analytics, including exposure to cloud technologies and modern data ecosystems. Strong technical proficiency in data platform architecture and data management technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, Spark, Databricks, cloudnative services). Ability to build scalable, secure, and highperforming data solutions. Experience with Databricks implementation and optimization is highly desirable. Deep understanding of data warehouse design, data modelling, and scalable architecture principles. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills; ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strategic thinking and problemsolving abilities, with a track record of driving innovation, delivering results, and managing complex projects or initiatives. Solid understanding of data governance principles, regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA), and best practices for data privacy and security. Experience working in Agile or Scrum methodologies, with proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira). Business acumen and market orientation; ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and deliver data products that create tangible value.
