Day-to-Day Insight Global is looking for a Director of Global Operations to join our client in the hospitality space on a full-time, permanent basis. The Director of Global Operations will lead the execution of companys daytoday property operations across a rapidly scaling portfolio of shortterm rentals, property management assets, and boutique hotels. This role is responsible for translating operational strategy into consistent, repeatable execution across all markets, ensuring that field operations, vendors, and internal teams are aligned, accountable, and operating against clearly defined SOPs and KPIs. This individual will oversee a fully inhouse operations environment, including maintenance and housekeeping coordination, while managing a network of external vendors supporting access systems, security, and specialized services. The role will focus heavily on process implementation and systemizationbuilding on an existing operational framework, leveraging tools such as Monday.com, and ensuring all work flows through structured ticketing, SLA tracking, and performance measurement. A significant portion of the role will involve improving current systems, monitoring SLA adherence, identifying breakdowns, and driving corrective action. The Director will oversee procurement, FF&E and OS&E purchasing, vendor selection, and cost controls, with a mandate to centralize and streamline procurement activities that are currently fragmented across departments. This includes helping stand up a centralized warehouse operation in Toronto to manage consumables, inventory, furniture, and equipment used across properties and hotel launches. The Director of Global Operations will also own operational readiness and handoff from onboarding to full launch of newly acquired properties, ensuring these properties are guestready without disruption. While this role will not be responsible for design, build, or development, it will partner closely with onboarding teams to ensure smooth transitions into steadystate operations. Additional responsibilities include overseeing access systems (locks, keys, fobs, cameras, noise monitoring), driving improvements to guest service scoresparticularly around the checkin experienceand managing incident reporting, risk exposure, and insurance coordination as needed. Must Haves 710+ years of experience in hospitality, hotels, shortterm rentals, property management, or multisite service operations Proven leadership of maintenance teams, operations staff, and external vendors Strong experience implementing SOPs, KPIs, QA frameworks, and SLA management Demonstrated success improving operational efficiency, cost control, and service quality Experience overseeing procurement, inventory, and vendor management functions Ability to operate in highgrowth, executionheavy environments with evolving infrastructure Experience supporting operations across hundreds of units or keys in multiple markets Valid drivers license with a clean driving record Plusses Experience scaling operations across 500+ units or keys Prior ownership of warehouse operations or inventory systems implementation Exposure to FF&E / OS&E purchasing and global sourcing strategies Experience supporting hotel launches from an operational readiness perspective Background working with access control, security, or guestexperience technology systems Experience managing crossfunctional handoffs between onboarding and steadystate operations Salary starting at $130,000 depending on relevant skills & experience.
