Senior Project Manager Contract Length 9 Months Location: Calgary, Alberta Raise is currently hiring a Senior Project Manage r on behalf of our client. Theyre expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is a major Canadian airline. Description The Senior Project Manager in this role will be responsible for the hands-on delivery of our clients Integration Technology projects, with a specific focus on Active Directory (AD) migration and Identity & Access Management (IAM) unification. This role is execution-focused and accountable for managing plans, timelines, risks, and dependencies to ensure identity integration activities are delivered on time and with minimal business disruption. What Success Looks Like AD and IAM milestones delivered on schedule Minimal access issues or business disruption during migration Clear visibility into risks, issues, and dependencies Strong coordination across technical and business teams Accurate and timely project reporting Responsibilities Project Delivery Manage day-to-day delivery of M&A technology integration projects Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and status reports Track progress against milestones and escalate risks and issues as needed Coordinate tasks and dependencies across multiple technical and business teams Ensure agreed scope, timelines, and deliverables are met AD Migration & IAM Unification Manage delivery activities related to Active Directory migration or consolidation Coordinate execution of IAM unification activities, including identity lifecycle and access changes Work closely with technical teams to plan cutovers, testing, and stabilization activities Track readiness for identity-related milestones (e.g., Day 1 / Day 30 / Day 90) Support implementation of credential and access changes impacting end users Stakeholder Coordination Act as the central coordination point between Technology, Security, HR / People & Culture, Legal, and Business teams Facilitate working sessions and follow up on actions and decisions Provide regular project status updates to program leadership and governance forums Escalate blockers with clear impact and recommended next steps Risk, Controls & Documentation Identify and track delivery risks related to access continuity, security, and timelines Ensure required documentation, approvals, and controls are completed Support audit, security, and compliance activities as required during delivery Qualifications Experience as a Senior Project Manager, delivering complex technology projects Direct experience supporting M&A technology integration initiatives Practical experience managing Active Directory migration activities Working knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) delivery Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and dependencies Clear, concise communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences Nice to Haves Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID or hybrid identity environments Experience working in large enterprise or regulated environments Prior contract experience in M&A or integration environments Soft Skills Excellent written/verbal skills, strong collaborator. Education and Certifications Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Business Administration. PMP or equivalent project management certification (nice to have)
