Established in 1996, About Staffing is a BBB Accredited Business and a proud member of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce.We have partnered withour fantastic non-profit client to support them in the recruitment process to find their next Payroll Administrator.Job ID: 42326Job Type: Temp To Direct HireCategory: OtherOur industry-leading client is looking to bring on a Payroll Administrator for their niche organization in SE Calgary.This is an exciting opportunity to align with an incredible company that is committed to investing in its employees, maintaining work-life balance, and ensuring there is a human connection among its internal and external stakeholders.The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks with ease in a deadline-based role.If youre looking to join a passionate, people-focused organization, wed love to hear from you!Duties and Responsibilities:The key job functions are:Respond to Payroll emails and phone callsIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve payroll issuesAssist with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to HRIS and Payroll providersCommunicate and coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders such as CRA, Service Canada, etc.Execute various exception reports to identify payroll errorsPrint and distribute pay statements and tax statements as requiredEnsure all payroll master data records are maintainedComplete scanning of payroll documents as requiredAct as an ambassador for Payroll solutions within HR and the OrganizationExperience:2+ years of Candidan payroll experience is requiredExperience in UKG is considered an assetSkills:Excellent attention to detailStrong communication (written and verbal)Team player with the ability to work autonomouslyImpeccable organization and accuracyAbility to prioritize competing tasksReliable and accountable natureProfessionalism and strong work ethicBase Salary:$23-26+ per hourCompensation is based on experienceWork Hours:30 hours per week (+/-)Monday to Friday availabilityAdditional Notes:This opportunity does not include relocation.
