All in the Wild is a commercial art gallery featuring award-winning wildlife photographer Jason Leo Bantle. There are five locations in Alberta and Saskatchewan. We are a purpose-plus-profit organization. Our mission is to use our world-class photographic images to inspire a deeper appreciation of nature and efforts to conserve it. Jason is one of Canadas most recognized nature photographers at home and abroad; his work is collected and displayed throughout the world. We seek a driven, self-motivated and experienced individual to be our Alberta Assistant Gallery Manager in Canmore and Banff. You would contribute to our passionate and dedicated teams at our galleries and demonstrate key qualities of leadership: You pride yourself on providing the highest level of service to our customers and friends. You are a natural communicator, organized and fiscally savvy, as well as a supportive leader, demonstrated by your interaction with our Production, Sales, and Leadership teams. You excel at creating a positive and productive work environment while contributing to meet All in the Wilds mission and annual goals. Essential Responsibilities and Duties Work closely with the Gallery Manager to execute day-to-day operations Lead and maintain a professional, trained and motivated sales team at our Banff and Canmore galleries Ensure that all gallery staff are effectively trained in AITWs unified selling philosophy and operations processes/protocols, to create positive customer experiences and relationships In-gallery sales Meet and/or exceed monthly and annual sales targets Ensure that optimal inventory levels are maintained Ensure a high level of service to meet the needs of our community of collectors Continue to foster a consistent growth in our customer base Assess customers needs and identify emerging trends Establish new corporate partnerships within our community and beyond Maintain the integrity and quality of the gallery inventory Be an ambassador for our outstanding brand to our collectors, community and beyond Requirements Successful experience in a sales management role in a boutique type retail ecosystem, with a proven track record of success. Strong commitment to nature conservation. Solid communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Previous successful management and training of sales teams. Prior handson experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems. Professional work ethic. We provide Competitive compensation based on qualifications.
