We have family friendly events year-round and affectionately call our team members the Scandi Family.Benefits: We offer a comprehensive medical and dental plan as well as personal days off.What your day to day will look likeYou will be reporting intothe The Chief Financial Officer.Work with CFO to create pricing strategy for the bidCollaborate with the Operations team to gather data that may impact pricing, with timely and effective communicationDevelop functional relationships across the organizationInvestigate activity cost factors and critical success factors to develop accurate and competitive costing frameworksCreate Bid pricing framework, customized to specific bid and tied to final bid pricing matrix from customerCreate pricing based on existing contracts, scope specifications, bid requirements and internal evaluation metricsHighlight key assumptions and bid methodology for Management ReviewConduct review meetings and gain insights from Departmental Stakeholders that may influence pricing modelFinalize internal pricing upon completion of reviewTranslate pricing into the RFP Pricing Submission MatrixWhat youll need to succeedMinimum of five years previous experience in a finance analyst or estimating rolePost Secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field is requiredAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, specifically the ability to create and edit complex formulasExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organizationComfortable presenting data and pricing to support bid successStrong ability in mathematics to develop pricing analysis and forecastingPossess an understanding of cost & margin analysisMust be able to work under pressure with a sense of urgencyKnowledge of general financial accounting and analysis frameworksOur interview process20 minute preliminary phone interview with our Recruiter20-40 minute assessment (depending on optional practice questions or breaks)30 minute MS Teams video interview with the Hiring Manager and direct Supervisor for the roleAt Scandinavian Building Services we are an equal opportunity employer who values a diverse workplace.
