Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role based in North Vancouver, BC, for an Out of School Care Worker. Responsibilities include supervising and engaging with children aged 5-12 during before- and after-school hours. Tasks include assisting with homework, facilitating recreational activities, promoting positive social interactions, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children. The role involves collaborating with team members, maintaining a positive environment, and communicating effectively with families and caregivers. Qualifications Experience in child supervision, engaging children in recreational and educational activities, and conflict resolution. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, and team members. Knowledge of basic safety regulations and practices in a childcare or school setting. Organization, responsibility, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team. Possession of relevant certifications such as First Aid, CPR, and an updated criminal record check. ECE (Early Childhood Education) certification or related training is an asset but not mandatory. Experience working in a childcare or educational environment is considered an advantage.
