This role offers the chance to work on a wide range of municipal infrastructure projectsfrom water and wastewater systems to stormwater management, site grading, and municipal servicing.Youll be involved from concept to completion, leading or supporting the design, analysis, and delivery of projects. Depending on your experience and goals, youll either focus on design development or take on project management responsibilities, working closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, design, and manage water and wastewater treatment and conveyance projects.Prepare designs, drawings, specifications, reports, and contract documents for municipal infrastructure.Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic analyses and equipment sizing, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.Lead projects as a Project Manager, coordinating with clients, subconsultants, and contractors to meet quality, budget, and schedule objectives.Support proposal development and expressions of interest.Provide construction administration and inspection support during project delivery.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.Stay current with industry standards, modeling tools, and emerging technologies in municipal engineering.About YouBachelors degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.P.Eng. or E.I.T. designation (or eligibility for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC).Minimum 6 years of experience in municipal engineering, with a focus on water and wastewater systems.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., PCSWMM, XP-SWMM, InfoWorks, EPANET, WaterCAD).Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Experience in water supply, treatment & distribution, wastewater collection & treatment, stormwater management, and land development.Valid drivers license and ability to travel to project sites as required.Assets:Familiarity with municipal standards and design guidelines.PMP designation or project management training.Prior experience in a consulting environment.Whats OfferedCompetitive salary range: $120,000 $150,000 annually.Comprehensive benefits package starting on day one.Paid sick leave and flexible, hybrid work options.Professional development and mentorship opportunities.Employee ownership model that values growth and accountability.Supportive, team-oriented culture with opportunities to work on major municipal projects across Canada and the U.S.
