Role: Freelance Graphic Designer Rates: T4: 33-39/hr IC: 40/hr - 46/hr Key Responsibilities Design and produce creative assets for integrated event campaigns, including: Digital ads, email campaigns, website, and social media graphics Event signage, posters, and promotional materials Branded merchandise such as t-shirts, medals, and participant kits Adapt and ensure all creative aligns with established brand guidelines Collaborate closely with marketing and events teams to execute creative briefs Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines Prepare and deliver final assets for both digital and print production Contribute innovative ideas and visual concepts to enhance audience engagement Qualifications 3+ years of experience in graphic design (events, marketing, or nonprofit experience preferred) Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) Experience designing for both digital and print formats Strong understanding of layout, typography, and color theory Familiarity with production processes and preparing press-ready files Experience with website design is an asset Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Strong communication and collaboration skills Additional skills in photography, illustration, or motion graphics are a plus What Makes You a Strong Fit Strong visual design skills with high attention to detail Creative problem-solver with a passion for design Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-based environment Highly organized, adaptable, and receptive to feedback
