Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically-minded professional to join a premier national distributor of industrial fluid handling solutions. In this role, you will serve as the technical architect for the Finishing Division, focusing on powder coating, liquid finishing, and adhesive systems. You will not just be selling a product; you will be designing integrated solutions that keep Canadian infrastructure and manufacturing moving.As the Applications Engineer, you will bridge the gap between complex customer requirements and high-performance engineering. Working in tandem with the Business Development team, you will lead the 'discovery' phaseconducting deep-dive consultations to understand throughput needs, regulatory constraints, and spatial limitations. You are the subject matter expert who translates these needs into comprehensive AutoCAD layouts and robust technical proposals.Beyond the initial design, you will own the project lifecycle. This includes coordinating with world-class Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to source components, building precise estimation models in Excel, and managing the project through to final delivery. Whether it is troubleshooting a complex spray system or ensuring a new oven installation meets safety standards, your expertise ensures our clients receive a seamless, turnkey experience.
