About the Role We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage full-cycle recruitment for construction and field-based roles. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner closely with hiring managers to attract, screen, and hire qualified candidates while delivering a positive candidate experience. This role is for an existing vacancy. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Sourcing Manage full-cycle recruitment from intake to offer for construction roles (e.g., skilled trades, site supervisors, project coordinators, project managers) Source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and direct outreach Build and maintain a pipeline of active and passive candidates Post job ads and proactively promote openings Screening & Interviewing Review resumes and conduct phone/video interviews Assess technical skills, certifications, and cultural fit Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and collect feedback Conduct reference checks and support offer preparation Hiring Manager Partnership Conduct intake meetings to understand role requirements and timelines Provide market insights on candidate availability, pay expectations, and hiring challenges Advise hiring managers on best recruiting practices Process & Administration Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill and source of hire Ensure compliance with employment standards and fair hiring practices Candidate Experience & Employer Branding Deliver timely communication and a positive candidate experience Represent the company professionally in the talent market Support employer branding initiatives as needed QUALIFICATIONS: Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 35+ years in talent acquisition or recruitment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ATS platforms, and job boards. Exceptional organization, time management, and multitasking skills Strong verbal and written communication. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative. Prior experience or knowledge of the construction industry (an asset). Pay Range: $70,000 - $85,000 annually
