Fraud Data Solution Architect Location: Toronto, ON Job Type: Contract Start Date - March 30, 2026 Duration - March 28, 2026 Work Model: Remote Data Access & Security Alignment Assess current data access management processes and identify gaps. Define and support lock-down requirements for sensitive fraud-related datasets. Collaborate with Technology and Security teams to ensure all solutions meet security parameters. Evaluate whether fraud data should reside on-premises or in cloud environments. Ensure analysts can securely access required datasets while maintaining compliance. Fraud Data Strategy & Architecture Develop a fraud-focused data strategy aligned with enterprise programs and standards. Map existing digital databases, analytical tools, upstream/downstream systems, and integration points. Create a target-state architecture for fraud data and supporting technologies. Produce a detailed roadmap outlining phases, dependencies, and required capabilities. Current State Assessment Conduct a comprehensive review of current fraud data landscape. Identify architectural gaps, risks, and opportunities for modernization. Document findings in a structured assessment deliverable. Stakeholder Engagement Lead structured interviews and surveys with stakeholders. Work with enterprise architecture SMEs to ensure alignment with broader architecture. Blueprinting & Solution Patterns Provide solution patterns tailored to fraud data use cases. Deliver architectural blueprints and gap assessments. Recommend scalable patterns for ingestion, storage, analytics, and fraud-specific data models. Required Skills & Experience Experience in data architecture with experience in fraud. Strong understanding of fraud detection data flows and analytical tooling. Experience with secure data access frameworks in regulated environments. Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into structured architectural deliverables. Proven experience with cloud and on-prem data platforms.
