Your New Company You will be working for a privately owned property management company with a portfolio of mixed commercial properties across Alberta & BC . Due to a departure they are in need of a new Director of Property Management to support the team and oversee the day-to-day running of the portfolio. Your New Role You will report into the VP of Asset Management and be responsible for overseeing approximately 400,000 sq ft. of mixed commercial properties across AB and BC. You will have 4 direct reports and lead a team of 8 staff. You will be responsible for budgets, leasing, tenant relations, operations, and compliance. Day-to-day youll be managing people, reviewing financials, keeping tenants happy, working with brokers on new and renewal deals, and making sure the properties are running properly. What Youll Need to Succeed My client is looking for someone with 8+ years experience within commercial real estate, as a Property Manager, ideally with 1-3 years in a senior leadership role. You will be comfortable with leading a team, strategic planning, creating budgets, overseeing capital projects and liaising with tenants, vendors and contractors. A RECA License would be preferred, or a willingness to complete it within 12 months.
