Maintenance TechnicianIndustry: Food Processing / Packaging / Liquid FillingShifts: Continental shift schedulePosition Overview:We are seeking a Maintenance Millwright / Technician with a strong electrical background to support high-speed food packaging and liquid filling operations. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated production equipment to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.Key Responsibilities:Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production and packaging equipmentTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsDiagnose and resolve issues on high-speed packaging and liquid filling linesSupport line changeovers, equipment setup, and continuous improvement initiativesRead and interpret electrical schematics, PLC logic, and technical drawingsPerform PLC troubleshooting, sensor calibration, and control adjustmentsMaintain conveyors, fillers, labelers, sealers, and associated automation systemsEnsure compliance with food safety and plant safety standardsDocument maintenance activities in CMMS systems (Kronos or similar)Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and increase line efficiencyMust-Have Qualifications:4+ years of experience in food manufacturing (packaging and/or liquid filling)Experience as a Maintenance Millwright or Maintenance TechnicianStrong electrical troubleshooting skills (motors, VFDs, sensors, PLC exposure)Experience working with automated, high-speed production linesAbility to read electrical and mechanical schematicsAsset Experience:Experience with Krones, KHS, Tetra Pak, or similar equipmentInjection molding maintenance experienceExperience using CMMS systems (Kronos or equivalent)Background in beverage, dairy, or liquid processing environmentsCompensation & Shifts:Licensed Millwrights: $38$42/hourMaintenance Technicians: $32$38/hourKey Traits:Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilityComfortable in fast-paced, high-volume production environmentsTeam-oriented with strong communication skillsAble to work rotating shifts and respond to breakdowns
