Maintenance Technician Industry: Food Processing / Packaging / Liquid Filling Shifts: Continental shift schedule Position Overview: We are seeking a Maintenance Millwright / Technician with a strong electrical background to support high-speed food packaging and liquid filling operations. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated production equipment to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production and packaging equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Diagnose and resolve issues on high-speed packaging and liquid filling lines Support line changeovers, equipment setup, and continuous improvement initiatives Read and interpret electrical schematics, PLC logic, and technical drawings Perform PLC troubleshooting, sensor calibration, and control adjustments Maintain conveyors, fillers, labelers, sealers, and associated automation systems Ensure compliance with food safety and plant safety standards Document maintenance activities in CMMS systems (Kronos or similar) Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and increase line efficiency Must-Have Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in food manufacturing (packaging and/or liquid filling) Experience as a Maintenance Millwright or Maintenance Technician Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (motors, VFDs, sensors, PLC exposure) Experience working with automated, high-speed production lines Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics Asset Experience: Experience with Krones, KHS, Tetra Pak , or similar equipment Injection molding maintenance experience Experience using CMMS systems (Kronos or equivalent) Background in beverage, dairy, or liquid processing environments Compensation & Shifts: Licensed Millwrights: $38$42/hour Maintenance Technicians: $32$38/hour Key Traits: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability Comfortable in fast-paced, high-volume production environments Team-oriented with strong communication skills Able to work rotating shifts and respond to breakdowns
