ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT MANAGER - Remote Clear-Site Solutions is seeking a highly organized, analytical, and proactive Environmental Project Manager to support project operations, budgeting, reporting, and administrative coordination across environmental programs. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives behind the scenes, enjoys improving processes, and can balance project administration, data management, and team coordination in a fast-paced consulting environment. This position partners closely with project leads, technical staff, and operations teams to ensure projects are properly set up, resourced, tracked, and supported from initiation through closeout. Position Summary This role plays a key part in maintaining project budgets, supporting invoicing and approvals, coordinating internal systems and dashboards, assisting with work planning and reporting, and helping keep staff effectively resourced and billable. The successful candidate will combine strong administrative skills with comfort in financial and data systems, independent problem-solving, and a willingness to support internal process improvement. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Administrative Support Coordinate internal project tasks, assignments, and workflow tracking. Support environmental project planning, setup, and ongoing administrative execution. Assist with project documentation, task management, and internal follow-up. Support assessment and remediation work plan coordination and review workflows. Provide support for client reporting processes and staff training needs. Budgeting, Invoicing & Financial Oversight Track project budgets in project management software. Create monthly invoices and tickets in QBO. Submit tickets to OI and support related financial workflows. Monitor project financial data for accuracy, completeness, and timely approvals. Systems, Reporting & Data Management Support contracts management and administrative project setup. Complete GD setup when required, including multi-client configurations. Manage task assignment and administrative workflows. Support dashboard development and maintenance using reporting and visualization tools such as Plotly. Maintain internal reporting systems and improve data consistency across projects. Resourcing & Team Support Assist with staff resourcing to help maintain utilization and billability. Support training and development for staff on client reporting and related internal systems. Help identify and close internal support gaps across reporting, remediation, and project coordination needs. Collaborate with technical and operational leads to keep project work moving efficiently. Qualifications Bachelors degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, biology, or related field. Experience in environmental consulting, project coordination, project management, or internal operations support. Strong organizational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail. Experience with budgeting, invoicing, approvals, or project financial tracking. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with business systems, reporting tools, and project tracking platforms. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with environmental consulting workflows, remediation support, or environmental reporting. Experience with QBO, Fieldshare, Matidor, or similar project and financial systems. Experience with dashboarding or data visualization tools such as PowerBI and Plotly. Experience supporting internal reporting, training, or process improvement initiatives. Surfer training or willingness to learn technical tools used in environmental project delivery.
