Pinchin is seeking a Project Manager to join our IEQ team in Southwestern Ontario (SWO). The successful candidate can work from any of Pinchins SWO offices, including Barrie, Hamilton, London, St. Catharines, Tilbury, and Waterloo. This role is open as a replacement role and reports to the Operations Manager. This is an ideal opportunity if you: Are looking to expand your professional development beyond the project level Enjoy working with and developing relationships with various client and peer groups Find satisfaction in providing effective coaching and leadership to your project team Department Overview In this role you will work with closely with the Operations Manager of the local office, as well as support all six Pinchin offices in Southwestern Ontario. Day to day, you will be a key point of contact for a variety of clients across multiple sectors, which will include assessing conditions in the field, as well as managing projects, and creating relationships with both existing and new clientele. You will collaborate closely with colleagues, including more junior members of the team, and clients to understand their goals and deliver solutions that reflect quality, integrity, and care. This is meaningful work with real impact, and you will grow your skills while contributing to projects that make buildings and environments better. Your Impact Build and maintain positive relationships with new and existing clients; support business development and marketing efforts Prepare, scope, and review proposals for IEQ projects Manage projects from start to finish (planning, budgeting, execution, technical support, and delivery) Oversee subcontractors and coordinate remediation activities, acting as liaison between clients, contractors, and other stakeholders Lead and develop project coordinators, technologists, and junior staff through coaching, training, and mentoring Maintain and enhance quality control of deliverables, including report review and adherence to established procedures Collaborate with project managers and technologists across other divisions and offices to deliver projects effectively Manage project time and financial performance, including diligent oversight of WIP, invoicing, and accounts receivable What Youll Bring to Pinchin 3+ years of mould and indoor air quality (IEQ) related experience, with familiarity of building systems (structure, envelope, HVAC, etc.) Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., Construction/Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering, BSc/Applied Science); equivalent experience considered an asset Professional certifications/designations (e.g., PMP, EP, AScT, CRSP, ROH/ROHT, C.E.T., EIT/P.Eng.) considered an asset Strong project management capability, including effective planning, prioritization, and time management Knowledge of relevant Ontario and Federal regulations/guidelines and experience liaising with governing bodies Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent technical writing, reviewing, and editing Analytical, adaptable, and solutions-focused; able to coach, train, and mentor junior staff Proficiency with Microsoft Office; availability for occasional work outside core hours; valid drivers license/vehicle; and ability to obtain required security clearances For Current Employees Current employees are encouraged to speak with their HR Advisor for information on the application process.
