Job Title: Construction Manager IIILocation: Edmonton, ABLength: 1 year (with potential extension)Rotation: Monday - Friday (On-site) Role SummaryProvides seniorlevel leadership and oversight for site construction activities, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution in alignment with project objectives, schedules, and contractual requirements. Acts as the companys primary onsite representative, coordinating contractors, engineering, systems completion, and operations while supporting project delivery and site management excellence. Key ResponsibilitiesLead site Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) programs and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirementsLead and manage company site team(s) to deliver construction activities in accordance with project objectives, schedule, priorities, and contract specificationsServe as a member of the Project Team (PT) when assigned to a projectSupervise onsite contractual administration and ensure compliance with specificationsOversee the planning and execution of fabrication, construction, hookup, and mechanical completion activitiesAct as the company single point of contact onsite for contractor site managementManage interfaces and interactions with contractors and internal groups (e.g., engineering, systems completion, and production operations) related to construction execution and issue resolutionReport construction progress, performance, initiatives, and issues to the Project ManagerProvide general updates to the Construction Support Manager, as requiredWhen not assigned to a specific project, support project construction site management activities as needed Role ScopeEnsures construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contractual, quality, and regulatory requirementsProvides senior site leadership to manage contractor performance, interfaces, and issue resolutionSupports schedule delivery through effective planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical and systems completion activitiesActively contributes to risk management, construction readiness, and continuous improvement initiativesSupports operational excellence through lessons learned, closeout reporting, and performance feedback Tasks and ResponsibilitiesReport progress, performance, initiatives, and issues to the Site or Project ManagerEnsure contractors are implementing and maintaining effective interfacesEnsure Quality Plans and requirements are established and adhered toEnsure Mechanical Completion and Systems Completion activities are properly planned and safely executed to support project schedulesActively participate in Key Risk Assessments, Construction Readiness Reviews, and/or Independent Project ReviewsParticipate in lessons learned reviews and complete applicable closeout report sections upon completion of site workBe accountable for competency development and career progression of direct reports, including providing input into performance appraisal processes QualificationsBachelors degree in EngineeringConstruction experience within the Oil & Gas industryStrong understanding of construction site execution and fabrication yard performance driversProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointAbility to clearly communicate technical issues to nontechnical audiencesStrong written and verbal English communication skillsWillingness and ability to travel internationallyProven ability to collaborate effectively in a fastchanging environment Apply here or send your resume to
