Specialist - Cloud Engineering - Gen AI Location: Mississauga-Ontario-Canada & Halifax-Canada Mandatory Skills : GenAI - LLMOps, Python Good to Have Skills : RPA - Microsoft Power Automate Job description This is an exciting opportunity to join a team focused on revolutionizing financial data interaction through advanced AI We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist specializing in Generative AI to contribute to the development of AIML projects within the Finance domain Responsibilities Design develop and implement cuttingedge Generative AI solutions for various AIML projects in Finance building upon existing foundations Lead the integration of Retrieval Augmented Generation RAG techniques to enhance the accuracy and contextawareness of our AI systems Develop and refine Large Language Model LLM based solutions leveraging expertise in prompt engineering and finetuning Utilize table transformers and other advanced Python packages for extracting and processing complex financial data Work endtoend on GenAI solutions from data preprocessing and model development to deployment and monitoring Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions into existing workflows Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in GenAI and contribute to our ongoing AI innovation efforts Communicate technical concepts and findings clearly and effectively to both technical and nontechnical audiences Qualifications Bachelors in Computer Sciences or related field Masters degree or PhD in Data Science Computer Science or a related field is preferred Proven experience 68 years in developing and deploying AIML solutions in realworld settings Minimum 2 years of experience specifically with Generative AI solutions Proven experience in developing and deploying Generative AI solutions in realworld settings Deep understanding of oRetrieval Augmented Generation RAG oLarge Language Models LLMs and their applications oTransformer models eg BERT GPT oAgentic AI understanding oPrompt engineering and finetuning techniques oVector databases and similarity search oLangChain LlamaIndex or similar frameworks for building GenAI applications oModel evaluation metrics for GenAI oMLOps principles and practices for deploying and managing AI models Strong programming skills in Python including experience with relevant libraries and frameworks eg TensorFlow PyTorch scikitlearn Pandas NumPy Excellent communication collaboration and problemsolving skills Handson experience with endtoend AI project development and deployment Preferred Qualifications oFormal coursework or certifications in Data Science oExperience in the financial services industry oFamiliarity with cloud computing platforms eg AWS Azure GCP oContributions to opensource AI projects What to expect Opportunity to work on cuttingedge AI projects Collaborative and innovative work environment
