Our Global Express warehousing division in Concord requires a Freight Program and Procurement Associate. This position is a critical link among the warehousing departments to review and process freight quote requests from our customers. The Associate will provide our customers with quotes based on carrier and spot rates provided by the Traffic Department and ensure quotes are accurate and communicated to our customers in a timely manner. Responsibilities include: Freight Program: quotes are researched, calculated and checked for accuracy quote amounts are uploaded onto our AS400 quotes are communicated to our customers Procurement support: investigate inbound shipments for accuracy forward PO reports and labels communicate with freight forwarders The ideal candidate has 2-3 years experience in processing freight orders and working in a procurement office, is computer literate (MS Office & Excel), has multitasking skills and has good customer service and communication skills.
